Phil Borchmann

Former Editor of Gulfshore Business Magazine

For nearly 15 years, Borchmann served as the editor of the award-winning Gulfshore Business magazine, a business-to-business publication covering Lee, Collier, and Charlotte counties. He also edited Naples REALTOR the official magazine of the Naples Area Board of Realtors that is published by Gulfshore Life magazine. Before his arrival in Southwest Florida, Borchmann spent about 15 years working as a metro, education, and business reporter at newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune and the Rockford Register Star in Rockford, Illinois, his hometown. Borchmann is a graduate of Illinois State University. 

Timothy J. Cartwright

Partner at Fifth Avenue Family Office

Timothy J. Cartwright is a partner at Fifth Avenue Family Office. Fifth Avenue Family Office provides a broad range of services ranging from investment management to sophisticated estate planning, evaluation of private equity and venture investment opportunities, thoughtful multi-generational legacy transfers and lifestyle services. Mr. Cartwright serves as volunteer Treasurer of the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation and was recently named as one of Florida Trend’s 500 Most Influential Floridians due to his venture capital and private equity activity with the Tamiami Angel Funds and Adrenaline Venture Fund. Prior, he co-founded By-Products Interactive, an electronic trading, market research and publishing company; and Benchmark Solutions, a supply chain consulting company. He began his career working with middle market companies at Arthur Andersen in Chicago, Illinois. He resides in Naples with his wife and three children. He is a softball coach, a soccer coach, and an active member of First Baptist Church of Naples.

Johnathan Romine

2nd Muse, Program Director for the Southwest Florida Community Sourced Incubator (CSI)

Jonathan is the Program Director for the Southwest Florida Community Sourced Incubator (CSI). He supports new businesses and grows existing ones to make SWFL a better place to live and work while building an economy where everyone succeeds. Jonathan has spent the past decade in Southwest Florida starting, growing, and managing small businesses that generate more than $14M in revenue. He has an affinity for measuring results yet has a major soft spot for people. Jonathan sees each day as an opportunity to help someone succeed or empower a whole community of “someones” to make a better future. He has led corporate social responsibility efforts while having a wide range of board and advisory positions spanning non-profit, public, political, and philanthropic sectors.

Donna M. Flammang

member/partner in the law firm of Brennan Manna & Diamond, P.L

Donna M. Flammang is a member/partner in the law firm of Brennan Manna & Diamond, P.L. in Bonita Springs, Florida whose practice is concentrated in the areas of business/tax law and estate planning. She assists business with the formation, purchases, and sales of business, contracts, employment issues, non-compete issues, tax matters, trademarks, copyrights, and license agreements, and tax issues. She was formerly the Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of an NYSE listed Fortune 600 international manufacturing company and a shareholder/partner in the over 400 lawyers Midwest regional law firm of Taft, Stettinius & Hollister in Ohio. She has been named as a “Best Lawyer” for 2018 and 2019. Besides being a member of Rotary, she is a member of the Advisory Board for the Institute of Entrepreneurship of FGCU, a member of the Advisory Board of the FGCU Lugert School of Business, Small Business Development Center, a Board member of The Florida Lions Eye Clinic, the Speakers Assembly of SW Florida and is Vice President of the Board of The Everglades Wonder Gardens.

Ryan Carter

Executive Vice President and Co-Owner, Scotlynn USA Division

2019 Distinguished Entrepreneur of SW Florida Award winner and Executive Vice President of Scotlynn USA Division. Carter has grown the operation into a powerhouse that specializes in hauling time-sensitive refrigerated produce. Today, the company has eight offices in the U.S., about 450 drivers and trucks, and more than 1,000 employees. It did $191 million in revenue in 2018. Carter discovered the logistics and transportation industry immediately after graduating from the University of Kentucky with a degree in economics.
